TITLE I INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST for TECHNOLOGY 11 MONTHS |
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Title I Elementary Schools Level, Central Office based, Full-time
EDUCATION, WORK
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
·
Minimum of five years of successful elementary teaching.
· Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience with technology preferred.
· Master’s Degree and/or Advanced Professional Certification (preferred).
· Computer literacy skills and knowledge of integration of technology in a classroom setting.
· Knowledge of Best Practices in Instruction and Instructional Methodologies.
· Evidence of exemplary abilities.
·
Evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills.
·
Evidence of exemplary organizational and
planning skills.
·
Bachelor’s degree and meets Highly
Qualified certification requirements as established by the Maryland State
Department of Education.

Other experience as established by Maryland Law
and Board of Education policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·
Plans
and delivers staff development at Title I schools.
·
Holds team
and/or content planning meetings to assist Title I Instructional Technology
teachers with planning, pacing and examining student work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have
ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability
to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light
to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye
coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and
visual acuity to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to
sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Reasonable accommodations may be
